From go to done: how work Leo drafts gets built

You say go, your own agent collects the work, does it and reports back. And a routine, once built, keeps running without you.

Leo drafts the work. An agent you already pay for does it, on your own computer or in the cloud, and tells Leo what it did. Nothing starts until you say go.

That agent is Claude Code, or Codex if you use ChatGPT. Leo does not do the building itself, and that is on purpose: the work happens in your files, on your plan, where you can see it.

The four steps

  1. You ask. In the chat, in your own words. "Set up a place to keep our documents with a history." "Add tracking to the website." "Write the privacy notice from what I have told you."
  2. Leo drafts. It writes the brief as a ticket on the board: what to do, why, and how to tell it worked. It waits there.
  3. You say go. In the chat, or by ticking the ticket. This is the only thing that starts work.
  4. Your agent collects, does it and reports back. What changed, where, and how to check it. Leo puts that on the ticket and keeps what it learned, so the next piece of work starts from there.

When the work comes back, it comes back to you to judge.

Connecting your agent, once

On the Connections tab, under Agents that do the work, press How to connect. Leo shows you a few lines of wording with a Copy button. Paste them into Claude Code or Codex, opened in the folder your business works from.

That is the whole setup. From then on you type one thing into your agent whenever you have said go in Leo:

collect from Leo

It picks up everything waiting, one piece at a time.

Who sees the wording

It carries a key that belongs to your business, so only the person who runs your Leo is shown it. Give it to your own agent and nobody else.

What keeps going by itself

A lot of useful work is not a one off. It is a check every morning, a report every Monday, a draft every week. That is a routine.

Ask Leo for one the same way as anything else. Your agent builds it, and from then on it runs on its schedule in the cloud. Your computer can be off. You do not have to ask again.

A routine can report into Leo as it goes:

  • Raise a to do on your board when it finds something that needs you.
  • Read what you have decided, so it never works from last month's settings.
  • Read the tools you connected, without holding a password of its own.

Premium Puzzles, the store we build Leo on in the open, runs seven of these. Three report every morning: orders, numbers and content.

Is this the same as adding Leo to Claude or ChatGPT?

No, and it is easy to mix the two up.

Leo in your assistant An agent that does the work
Where you set it up Connections, under Your own assistant Connections, under Agents that do the work
What it is for Asking Leo questions from Claude or ChatGPT, and sharing things with Leo Getting work built, in your files
Can it change anything? No. It reads, and passes on what you ask it to Yes, but only work you said go to

The first lets your assistant talk to Leo. The second lets work leave Leo and get done.

What is still new

Today you tell your agent to collect. Leo starting it by itself the moment you say go works at Premium Puzzles and is not yet switched on for every business in the beta. If you find yourself typing "collect from Leo" a lot, tell us.
